Face Oils and Serums
You don't have to spend a fortune to have beautiful skin - it is possible to get amazing skin on a budget. Serums moisturise the skin better than creams and lotions, while nourishing with essential oils to improve my skin's appearance and feel. These easy to make at home DIY face oil and serum recipes use only a few natural ingredients, but give fantastic results.
IMPORTANT: When using essential oils it is vital that they are diluted in a carrier oil and not used neat on the skin. Essential oils can cause skin reactions if not diluted.
These recipes for natural DIY body oils and serums use only two ingredients – Carrier Oils and Essential Oils. Dilution of essential oils should be no more than 2% to carrier oil. See guide below:
10ml bottle – 2tps of carrier oil, 6 drops essential oil
15ml bottle – 3tps of carrier oil, 9 drops essential oil
20ml bottle – 4tps of carrier oil, 12 drops essential oil
30ml bottle – 6tps of carrier oil, 18 drops essential oil

Choosing which oils to use is entirely up to you, however, to get the best results from your oil or face serum always try and use an oil that’s a right match for your skin type or targeted problem areas. See suggestions below:

Method
Pour your carrier oil(s) into dropper bottle. Then carefully add your drops of essential oil. Cap the bottle and gently roll through your hands to mix the oils together. You are all set to go.
NOTE: Facial oils are best applied to clean skin. Cleanse your face as usual, spray on your favourite toner, and gently massage about a 1/4 to 1/2 dropper full of oil blend onto your face and neck. Your skin will love this oil.
